Introduction

Plastic surgical procedures to improve one`s appearance – the aesthetic or beauty surgery – have become popular to enhance a person`s self esteem and quality of life. The media and unethical doctors propagate that everything is possible and only a matter of money. Every plastic surgical procedure however has certain inherent risks, despite utmost skill and care of the surgeon. Careful and open preoperative consultation by the plastic surgeon is mandatory. The patient must be honest,too in informing the surgeon about illnesses and previous operations or complications. Plastic surgery is unique by incorporating the patient as partner in the decision making process upon the best treatment presently available.
A personal consultation and careful physical examination in the office before any treatment is strongly suggested. Long distance correspondence via telephone or preferably e-mail with pictures demonstration the problem or desired alterations may help as a preliminary consultation. On the basis of decades of experience and the personal development of numerous operative procedures I will then propose a tailor made solution with minimally invasive techniques including endoscopic “key-hole-surgery”.  Long term follow-ups and analysis of my results have become a trade mark of my scientific research.
I make a point to treat my patients personally from scratch to sutures and take full responsibility until the final outcome. The treatment will be finished only after the patient and I are satisfied. Under theses auspices I will refuse unrealistic desires or procedures that
hold too high risks or too little chances for a pleasing  result.
